Kasperson Semester 2 Week 1

In Forensics, Psychology, Science - 7th Grade, Science - 8th Grade

Good afternoon,

We are off to a great start with the beginning of a new semester and a new calendar year!

Some have been asking about how the semester will play out since I am due in April. As of now, I am planning to teach until mid/late April and then will be on maternity leave through the rest of the school year. Currently, I am working with administration about the logistics while I am away on leave so I will communicate more information as I know.

Science Fair/ Stem-fest Updates:

Science Fair and STEM projects must be completed before Thursday, January 27, 2022. They will not need to turn in their projects on that date, but will need to have them completed/tested because we will begin writing the reports during class on Friday, January 28.

Science Fair will be presenting a slides presentation about their experiment (details outlined on website) during class on 1/31/2022.

Here is a link to the website that gives all necessary information for the Stem-fest/ Science fair.

A helpful note: Most of these projects will be completed outside of class. They are not designed to be time-consuming or expensive. There will be a few days closer to the deadline in which students can wrap up their projects during class. For any questions, feel free to contact Michelle Tischer at mtischer@santancs.com
